Sweet Relief

Ooohh! I'm almost glad it's Ekadasi today. We had so many sweets for my birthday yesterday!

Bhakti Lalita Devi Dasi went to Haldiram's and bought a few hundred rupees worth of sweets — enough for everyone to have at least four different varieties. The biggest hit was a confection called ice-cream sandesh. Homer: "Hmmmm — ice-cream sandesh."

Today I'm giving my system a chance to recuperate. I'm glad we don't do this every day. Still, I can't wait for the next half-century to roll around...
