Convalescing

Idyllic morning

I am feeling much better this morning; my nose is no longer running or stuffy and my joints don't ache; other than a slightly sore throat, I have almost fully recovered from my recent bout of the flu.

I have been in bed for the last four days, and since it is a beautiful, warm sunny morning here at the Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Ashram, I sit outside at a concrete picnic table and chairs at the end of the garden which has been thoughtfully landscaped in the shape of the new South African flag, chanting my japa and soaking up the sun's healing rays...
