Quieter Days

Back to normal

Now that Paramahamsa Maharaj is gone, things are a little quieter around here. In the morning after breakfast I catch up on my reading and do a little blogging.

Devotees dribble in to my room at all hours of the day to ask me questions about their spiritual life. I try my best to represent what I have received from Srila Gurudeva and Srila Guru Maharaj.

Some of the questions are pretty basic (I sometimes forget how long it's been since I started down this road and some of the silly questions I used to ask). Some of the devotees who recently took initiation ask questions about how to chant, what they should concentrate on, etc.

In the late afternoon and early evenings, devotees and students come to the Yoga center, to "find their inner selves through yoga," as the Turkish Daily News put it in an interview with Ramaray Prabhu a few years ago.

Many of the students stay for the Bhagavad Gita class — and that's the whole idea...
