Hundreds gather in St. Petersburg

There are hundreds of devotees here at the Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math in Saint Petersburg: there are devotees from Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, India, U.S.A., Canada, South America, Turkey, Iran, Italy, England, and Eastern Europe.

All the rooms in the guesthouse, the temple, and Vijay Raman Prabhu's house are full, and many tents are pitched in and around the temple grounds. The area outside the temple compound looks like a campground. It is quite pleasant amongst the trees and on the shore of the Baltic Sea, which laps up to within twenty yards of the temple boundary wall.

This is the biggest gathering of devotees that I have seen outside of the festivals at Nabadwip, in India. Everyone is happy to be here, to see Srila Gurudeva, and to participate in His Divine Grace's 20th World Tour.
