Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh, India

Vrindavan Math

An excellent location

Today, Srila Gurudeva and all the Western devotees leave the Srila Sridhar Swami Seva Ashram in Dasbisa, Govardhan, for our other Math, the Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math and Mission in Sevakunj, Vrindavan. The last time I came to Vrindavan was almost six months ago, on Sunday, March 23rd, just four days after I took sannyas.

On our arrival, after we take the darshan of Sri Sri Guru Gauranga Gandharva Rasa Biharijiu, we are shown to our rooms upstairs — Srila Gurudeva on the second floor, and Goswami Maharaj, Siddhanti Maharaj and me on the third floor — by Probhat Krishna Prabhu.

Our Vrindavan math is situated in such an auspicious place: close to Seva Kunja Mahala, in the heart of Vrindavan, right next door to Srila Rupa Goswami Prabhu's samadhi mandir and bhajan kutir, and Srila Jiva Goswami's samadhi mandir, in the courtyard of Srila Jiva Goswami's Sri Sri Radha-Damodar Temple. Also close by is the samadhi mandir of Srila Krishna Das Kaviraj Goswami and Srila Sanatan Goswami's Sri Sri Radha Madana-Mohan Temple.
