Installation Day Festival

Hundreds attend celebration

Today is Installation Day Festival of Sri Sri Guru Gauranga Radha Madana Mohanjiu here at the Sree Chaitanya Saraswata Krishnanushilana Sangha in Dum Dum Park, Calcutta.

The temple and the nat mandir are gaily decorated with flowers, flower garlands and streamers, strings of mango leaves and ribbons, and strategically placed banana trees.

All the senior sannyasis — Bhakti Prasun Aranya Maharaj, Bhakti Dayita Damodar Maharaj, Bhakti Sudhir Goswami Maharaj, Bhakti Kanan Giri Maharaj, Bhakti Prapanna Tirtha Maharaj — sing the glories of Sri Sri Guru Gauranga Radha Madana Mohanjiu.

Afterwards maha-prasadam is served to all. There are so many hundreds of devotees and guests that prasadam is served inside and outside the nat-mandir (in four shifts!) and up on the second floor.
