For Srila Gurudeva's return

Srila Gurudeva returns to Delhi, India, from his 20th World Tour tomorrow, culminating a six-week visit to four major cities: London, Milan, Saint Petersburg, and Moscow.

Everybody is rushing around, sprucing up the ashram, getting ready for Srila Gurudeva and his entourage's arrival: rooms are swept, dusted and aired out, floors and steps are swept and washed, mattresses are hung out in the sun to air, blankets are washed and folded neatly, and stocks of bottled water are replenished in all the rooms.

Outside, the construction workers have also picked up the pace: the granite facade and the marble steps at the entrance of the Sri Anu Giriraj Mandir are washed down and polished, the last bits of bare plaster walls are daubed with whitewash, the area in front of the Seva Kunj is filled in and leveled with earth, and the whole temple compound is generally cleaned up.

Now we await Srila Gurudeva's arrival...
