Gurudeva Returns

Back from six-week tour

Srila Gurudeva and his entourage — Goswami Maharaj, Siddhanti Maharaj, Trivikrama Maharaj, Paramahamsa Maharaj, Ranajith Prabhu, Bhakti Lalita Devi Dasi, Malati Priya Devi Dasi, and Jamuna Priya Devi Dasi — arrive at the Delhi airport early this morning, from Moscow, and are met by Sandeep Prabhu and Janaki Vallabha Prabhu.

Srila Gurudeva is returning from a six-week tour — his 20th World Tour — of England, Italy and Russia, during which he inspired thousands and initiated hundreds of devotees in London, Milan, Saint Petersburg and Moscow.

I was with Srila Gurudeva on the third, Russian portion of the tour, and I was tremendously impressed by the number of sincere devotees who came from all over Europe and the Russian Federation to see Srila Gurudeva, to get his darshan, and, for many, to establish a connection with him through harinama initiation.

Srila Gurudeva is tired from his long, overnight Aeroflot flight from Moscow, and his subsequent four-hour car ride to the Srila Sridhar Swami Sevashram, here in Dasbisa, Govardhan; after taking a little muri for breakfast, he retires to his room to rest.
