Srila Gurudeva has a Macintosh G4 laptop computer that he mostly uses to store the thousands of photographs from his recent world tours, and the photographs from many of the devotees in other parts of the world, as well as video footage (in the digital MPEG format) of many of the larger feasts and festivals.

The laptop is a great preaching tool: Srila Gurudeva is always using it to show visitors to the Math some of the multifarious preaching activities of the Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math and of his thousands of disciples around the world.

In addition, there are hundreds of pictures of many of the temples, ashrams, preaching centers, and farming communities on all the continents except Antarctica (watch this space!). Jamuna Priya Devi Dasi has arranged many of these pictures so that they can easily be presented as full-screen slide shows.

Since the laptop computer is portable, Srila Gurudeva took it with him when he checked in to the medical center, and we are told that he has been using it to spread the glories of the Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math among the doctors, nurses, and staff at the clinic.

Yesterday, after the x-ray technician took some x-rays of Srila Gurudeva, Srila Gurudeva reportedly showed him some pictures of his own: one of the slide shows on the laptop computer.
