When I go up to see Srila Gurudeva after the morning darshan, he says: "Acharya Maharaj called from Nabadwip; he wants you and Siddhanti Maharaj to go to Nabadwip tomorrow and go with him to a village program in Nasigram on Tuesday. Will you go?"
"Of course, Gurudeva," I reply.
Service calls! I have been sitting around for the last five weeks doing nothing but eat and sleep. It will be good to get out and do some service with Sripad Acharya Maharaj.
Nasigram! Where is that?
Apparently it is a remote, rural village with a population of 15,000, and is about a two-hour car ride north of the Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math in Nabadwip. The village has a long-standing connection with the Math: Srila Gurudeva has about forty initiated disciples living there.
The villagers have invited the devotees of the Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math to their village to host a public program and to meet the local devotees.
This ought to be fun.
I wonder if the village has an Internet connection? :-)
