iMonk Archive: 2003-2007
Bhakti Lalita Akinchan Maharaj became an itinerant monk in March 2003 when he was initiated as a sannyas disciple of Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda Maharaj. Instructed to travel and preach, the iMonk travels the world, to purify himself by faithfully representing his gurus' beautiful conception of Krishna consciousness to all who wish to hear.

Fourth year
While he again visits four continents this year, after the iMonk returns from Venezuela in the latter half of January he spends most of the year in the holy association of his gurudeva, Srila Govinda Maharaj — six months in India, and two months in Russia with his guru's entourage during His Divine Grace's 22nd World Tour.

Third year
Following his guru's instruction to travel and preach, the iMonk visits four continents again this year (spending more time in fewer cities) as he continues to try to inspire all who wish to hear — in Europe, Asia, and the Americas — that beautiful Krishna conception of Divinity that he received from his gurus.

Second year
After becoming an itinerant monk early in March 2003 — when he was initiated as a sannyas disciple of Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda Maharaj — Akinchan Maharaj continues to travel and preach. Follow the iMonk across four continents during his second year as a traveling preacher — to India, Russia, the Ukraine, the USA, Venezuela, and Mexico.

Enter the iMonk — First year
A Silicon Valley network administrator abruptly quits his job in March, gives up his possessions, and flies to India to become an itinerant monk — to be initiated as a sannyasi by Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda Maharaj. Instructed to travel and preach, the iMonk spends the next nine months in Russia, Siberia, Ukraine, Turkey, England, and South Africa.
