After breakfast, I get a bus to the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose domestic airport to meet Sripad Bhakti Bimal Avadhut Maharaj, our dynamic Russian preacher, who arrives on a jet Airways flight from Delhi at ten o' clock.
At midday more Russian devotees — Mukunda Brahmachari Prabhu, Ananda Vardana Prabhu, Makhanchora Prabhu, Katyayana Devi Dasi, and a few others that I am not familiar with — arrive on the Raj Dhani express train from New Delhi. Many of them are visiting India for the first time. Some already have the dreaded "delhi belly." :-)
Our other illustrious Russian sannyasi, Sripad Bhakti Chaitanya Bharati Maharaj, will arrive in India in a few days to celebrate the Gaura Purnima festival here in Nabadwip with Srila Gurudeva. There are already many other Russian devotees here for the festival; they have been arriving in dribs and drabs over the past few weeks.
Avadhut Maharaj will only be staying for three days. He will return to Russia on the weekend to organize and get ready for the big Gaura Purnima festival that will be held at the new temple and cultural center in the heart Moscow, just a few blocks from Red Square.
