The Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math web pages received a much-needed face-lift yesterday, thanks to the indefatigable efforts of Sri Mahananda Prabhu and "the dedicated energy of the visiting devotees."
I love the new layout, the warm brown and muted sepia colors, the "words to live by" pull-quote, the addition of the tried-and-true Google search engine, and the separate text, video, and audio archives.
The What's New? page (a holdover from the earlier days when the Math pages were updated once a week or so) is now redundant, since our blogger extraordinaire, Mahananda Prabhu updates the Math website "daily as far as possible" — which, as we know, really means every day except for a couple of days during the major festivals...
The Math pages have gone through a few incarnations: as the tag line says, "Online since 1995." The first pages, posted on Apara Ekadasi, May 24th, 1995, were very simple. Back then, Mosaic was the web browser of choice, and Netscape (version 0.9!) was the upstart browser. We have come a long way since then.
Please let Mahananda Prabhu know what you think of the new layout. As he says on the site: "Your suggestions and feedback are welcome."
