It is a cold, windy day. The snow, which began falling lightly yesterday during the nagar-sankirtan in downtown Saint Petersburg, covers everything with a thin, soft, powdery layer.
Sripad Avadhut Maharaj, always in demand, had to return to Moscow on Saturday night, spending just a little over twelve hours here in Saint Petersburg. In the few short hours that he was here, he gave some direction for the layout of the third issue of the new Russian magazine, Sadhu Sangha.
Ragalekha Devi Dasi is translating some English articles into Russian and proofreading some other Russian articles. I am sorting and cataloging some of the many digital images that we have spread over two external sixty-gigabit hard drives so that we will have a mini archive of images that we can use for this and future magazines.
Avadhut Maharaj will return to Saint Petersburg at the end of the week to begin the layout of the new magazine, which must be ready before Srila Gurudeva's Vyasa Puja on December 10th.
It's great to be able to help out, to be a part of the publishing team for a devotional magazine again. This is almost like the old days, working on the Vaishnava Toshani with Srutasrava Prabhu.
