Now this is snow! The snow, which began falling heavily last night, is now ankle-deep on the walkways, and knee-deep against the weather-walls. I have never seen anything like this in South Africa or California!
I wish Nilamani and Devaki were here so we could frolic in the snow, build snowmen, throw snowballs at each other...
Instead, I maturely commence my morning constitutional with Charlie, the temple watchdog, and — ohmygosh! Will you look at that?! The whole sea is beginning to freeze!
The temple is right on the shore of the Baltic Sea, and that shore just receded about two hundred feet last night. This is amazing! Charlie bounds ahead of me, barking. He sniffs and snuffles through the snow, excitedly exploring his new environment, slipping and skittering on the ice.
We continue to work on the Sadhu Sangha magazine after breakfast. We work all day and into the night, until Avadhut Maharaj and Madhava Krishna Prabhu have to leave to get the midnight express to Moscow.
