Srutasrava Prabhu, who only arrived here in Moscow yesterday from a lecture tour of the Ukraine (Zaporizhzhya, Kiev, and Odessa) returns to India today; he has only been in the country for three weeks.
I accompany him to the Sheremetyevo International Airport. It is a public holiday today, so the roads are deserted; although it is snowing heavily (the third day in a row), it takes us just fifteen minutes to get to the airport. This has to be some kind of a record; it usually takes at least an hour...
It has been good to have somebody to talk to: somebody who can speak English; somebody who can understand all the cultural nuances and colloquialisms of English/American speech.
I wish I were going back to India with him. I like it here in Russia, of course, but after three months, it would be nice to have the association of Srila Gurudeva and Sripad Goswami Maharaj again.
I return to the Moscow temple in Kiselny with Yadhu Krishna Prabhu. I will return to the Saint Petersburg temple with Dinashraya Prabhu in a day or two. I hear that another tour to the Ukraine is in the offing...
