Breaching the Chinese wall

I spent a week in India in August 2004 with my old friend and mentor, Yudhamanyu Prabhu, and blogged some of his recent accomplishments in China. Shortly afterwards, I received a response from Daisy Du, one his English students in Chengdu. Daisy's appreciation for our philosophy is a testament to the effectiveness of Yudhamanyu Prabhu's preaching and to the success of Srila Gurudeva's mission in China.

...One stone at a time

Dear Akinchan Maharaj:

Firstly, let me introduce myself to you. I am a student from a university in China. In recent days, I read many articles of yours on the Internet. I copied Unprecedented service, Forgotten promises, Amazing grace, Once in a blue moon, and so on from the Internet, and then I studied the articles carefully. To tell the truth, I like all of your articles very much!

Secondly, I'd like to say something about one of your beautiful articles, Unprecedented service. After I enjoyed reading it, I was touched by the sentences in the article. It's really a beautiful article I read in my life, and I love it very much. What composed this article? I think the answer is: not only the words, sentences, but also the feeling and the emotion, but the most important thing is the serving attitude, the serving mood!

Thirdly, Yudhamanyu Prabhu Seva Vikram is a knowledgeable and courageous person, and so are you. You knew so many things about Chinese history, you wrote Yudhamanyu Prabhu Vikram so beautiful in the right way and you devoted all your heart for Krishna! I pay my obeisance to you, to Yudhamanyu Prabhu Seva Vikram, and to Srila Gurudeva!

Finally, thank you for all your articles, sincerely! And best wishes to all of the devotees, from the bottom of my heart!
